Meet Dr. Barbara Hart
Who is Dr. Hart? Dr. Hart has purchased the Wilk & Wilk Oakville office and has rebranded it Hart Orthodontics. After a brief transition period, Dr. Hart wished to assert her independence and be the sole practitioner at this practice so Drs. Brian and Kevin now work exclusively at their Wilk & Wilk Cambridge practice. Dr. Hart is a well-trained, compassionate, and caring certified specialist in Orthodontics who resides in Oakville. Dr. Hart pursued dental and orthodontic postgraduate specialty training following the completion of her undergraduate and graduate studies in the Life Sciences at Queen’s University. Dr. Hart completed her Doctorate in Dental Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh, with the distinction of graduating at the top of her class and earned her Specialty Certificate in Orthodontics from the University of Rochester Eastman Institute for Oral Health.
Dr. Hart’s philosophy: Dr. Hart believes in a patient-centric approach to orthodontic treatment and seeks to understand her patients’ unique needs. Dr. Hart cares deeply about her work and greatly enjoys connecting with her patients and celebrating them as they go through their smile journey. She continuously strives to master new techniques and embraces new technologies in the orthodontic field.
Dr. Hart’s interests when not straightening teeth: Dr. Hart is of Polish background and enjoys every opportunity to practice her Polish and French. In her spare time, you’ll find Dr. Hart on the slopes at Blue Mountain with her partner Dennis, hiking with her dog, soaking up the sun at the beach, getting inspired by Home & Garden television, or wine tasting in the Niagara region.
