Orthodontic Braces

one size does not fit all

At Wilk & Wilk Orthodontics, we recognize that every patient is different and has different needs. As a result, we offer our patients a variety of different types of braces. Some of the types of braces we offer include:

Show your true colours.

Metal braces are the most common type and used by 80% of orthodontists worldwide. They are made of high-grade stainless steel and are small, comfortable and attractive. We use versatile metal twin braces that provide the three-dimensional control necessary to produce fast, comfortable and detailed tooth movement. They also provide our patients with the option of choosing coloured ties to individualize their smiles and to have fun during treatment.

Esthetic Clear Braces

I can see clearly now.

Dental Care - Esthetic Clear Braces Wilk & Wilk uses esthetic clear twin braces that we feel are the clearest and most esthetic alternatives to metal braces. They seamlessly blend with the natural colour of the teeth and our patients love them! Once bonded, these braces are nearly invisible on the teeth so orthodontic patients concerned about their appearance in metal braces can now take comfort that their braces are virtually invisible, giving them confidence in all social settings, at work and at school. They are colour stable and will not discolour throughout treatment. Like the metal twin braces, our patients can also choose coloured ties with these braces to individualize their smiles and to have fun during treatment. This is becoming a trend in our office! Like the metal braces, they also provide the three-dimensional control necessary for maximizing smile esthetics while producing fast, comfortable detailed tooth movement.
